If you’re using Dr. Thom’s dissertation experiment data (AA & AB), you need to choose the file that specifies the channel locations for the data. For the Dissertation Experiment data, this file is GSN256.sfp. This file can be found in the Matlab folder on the collection room Mac, or you can search for it.
If you’re using new data from the 64 channel net, use the GSN64.sfp or the GSN65.sfp file (found in the Matlab folder), depending on how many channels the imported data has. You can check that here:
Setting Channel Locations in eeglab
Step-by-step instructions with screenshots
Click Edit → Channel Locations
Then click Read locations
Find and Select the GSN256.sfp file and click open
Click Ok
Click Ok again
